Some scary moments on the road this morning in Lincoln after a pickup truck and a school bus collided just after 8:00 a.m.

Lancaster County Sheriff's Office says emergency crews responded to the crash at the intersection of 25th and Gage Road in southern Lancaster County.

The accident involved a Norris Public School bus driven by Ronny Aden of Cortland and a pickup driven by Jeffrey Hall of Hickman. The bus was going east on Gage Road and the pickup was headed south on 25th street as they both entered the uncontrolled intersection.

Forty-one students were on the bus. Twenty-one of those students suffered minor injuries and were taken to local hospitals. The driver of the pickup suffered what deputies describe as significant injuries. He was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.

The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office says concerned parents should report to the Norris High School multi-purpose room where school officials are standing by to provide any additional information.
