The latest report shows that Nebraska's foreclosure rate remains low.
RealtyTrac says the state's foreclosure rate ranked 46th in the nation in July, and stayed significantly lower than the national rate. Nebraska ranked 45th the previous two months.
RealtyTrac says court records show that one out of every 4,004 Nebraska homes were involved in foreclosure in July.
RealtyTrac says one in every 355 homes nationwide received a foreclosure filing in July.
RealtyTrac collects data from one quarter of Nebraska's 93 counties to develop the statewide rate.
The company says that data provides enough information to show the trend in foreclosures because more than half of the state's homes are in the counties it collects data from.
