Omaha Police Friday morning released the name of a man who was shot in the leg around midnight at 24th and Sprague.
The man is 24-year-old Terrell Wells.
Wells told police he was walking in the area of 24th and Sprague when he heard several shots. Moments later he realized he had been shot.
Wells was taken by private vehicle to Creighton University Medical Center. His injuries are not life threatening.
