An 84-year-old Dixon man has died after a crash Monday afternoon. The Dixon County Sheriff's Office says Clifford Templeman was taken to a hospital in Sioux City, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities say Templeman was driving west in his van on a county road when he ran a stop sign and crashed into a southbound semi.

Sheriff Dean Chase said Tuesday that the driver of the semi, 59-year-old Leo Richtermeier of rural Ponca, suffered only a minor cut.
