Dorothy Lynch is celebrating it's 50th anniversary on May 6. The salad dressing introduced in St Paul Nebraska by it's namesake features a distinctive flavor through a unique blend of tomato, vinegar and spices.
Dorothy Lynch and her husband served the original recipe at the local American Legion Club in St. Paul, Nebraska. Word spread about the dressing’s unique flavor, and locals brought in empty bottles and asked to buy it.
Tasty-Toppings, Inc. purchased the original recipe in 1964 and began producing it commercially in Columbus. Today, it’s produced in a modern 64,000-square-foot plant in Duncan.
Dorothy Lynch is sold in 35 states at major grocery chains and discount stores.
