A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for central Pottawattamie and central Lancaster counties until 4:30 p.m. A tornado watch is in effect until 10 p.m. Sunday for southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa, including Omaha, Council Bluffs and Lincoln.
Officers were called to 5826 Maple Street around 10 o'clock Monday night to investigate an armed robbery.
The clerk at the Tobacco Hut told officers that the suspect entered the store, displayed a stun gun and demanded money from the business.
The suspect took an undetermined amount of money and fled the area on foot.
Officers searched for the suspect, but were unable to locate him.
