Two Omaha women are charged with shoplifting in separate incidents.
On June 25th a 28-year-old woman was charged with shoplifting after she walked out of the HyVee store at 35th and L Street with a pack of Luvs diapers.
The report states the woman took the diapers off the shelf, walked to the Customer Service counter and filled out a job application. She then left the store without paying for the diapers.
She was cited and released.
In another incident, a 32-year-old woman was detained at the Bakers store at 173rd and Lakeside Hills after she stuffed five bottles of liquor in her purse and walked out without paying.
Omaha Police ran the woman’s name and discovered she had two outstanding warrants.
Incidentally, the woman had four bottles of tequila (two different brands) and a bottle of gin in her purse
