35-year-old Jacob Schoonover, the Army reservist already facing multiple and varied counts of child pornography charges, went again before a Sarpy County judge Friday morning.
Schoonover was arraigned on 20 counts of Possesion of Obscene Material containing minors. The bond on those counts was set at $250,000.
He's also facing 2 counts of Sexual Assault/Enticement and a single count of 3rd Degree Sexual Assault on a Minor. The bond on those charges total $125,000. Sarpy County officials say his total bond is set at $375,000. In order to bond out, he must pay 10 percent of that.
Schoonover was first arrested June 30th at a La Vista apartment complex where investigators say he arranged to meet with who he thought was a 14-year-old girl. It turned out to be an undercover officer.
Detectives confiscated Schoonover's computer and were able to get a warrant. They say they found more than 50 pornographic videos and 40 images, all involving children.
Schoonover is an Army reservist who recently returned from a tour of duty in Iraq. The Army is now part of the investigation.
