Another medically fragile patient forced from the troubled Beatrice State Development Center earlier this year has died.
Claudia Dawn Wright died Sunday at a northeast Nebraska hospital. She was 66.
Wright died a day after she was moved to the hospital from a Scribner nursing home where she had lived for five months.
Her cousin said she didn't know what caused Wright's death, but said Wright had been hospitalized because she was vomiting and not responding well to treatment.
In January, the state's chief medical officer ordered 47 medically fragile patients moved from the Beatrice center following the death of an 18-year-old resident.
Wright was the fifth known person to die after being ordered moved from the center.
