A 20-year-old Omaha woman is recovering after being injured in a drive-by shooting Monday outside an apartment house.

Shakiara Davis told police she was standing at 27th and Harrison when a vehicle pulled up just before 3 p.m. and someone inside opened fire. Witnesses told Channel 6 News it was a gray Grand Am with four males inside.

Davis was either grazed by a bullet or cut by shattered glass.

"From my door I heard about three or four gunshots, boom, boom, boom, boom, I didn't know what it was, I thought maybe he was fighting the girl, that's what I thought it was," said resident Joyce Berry.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call police at 444-7867.
