A 51-year-old Lincoln woman has been fined $150 for her pit bull's attack on a 10-year-old boy.

Lisa Burton pleaded guilty Thursday to having a dog at large and not having a dog license.

Police say Burton was walking her dog on June 3rd when it got away and chased Baylee Harris who was riding a bicycle nearby. The dog knocked Baylee off the bike and bit his face, head and arms. His wounds took 30 stitches to close.

In court Thursday, a city prosecutor said the dog had bitten another person last October. The dog has been euthanized.
