An Omaha teen shot Thursday night is recovering.

Police say 17-year-old Jarred Fellows and a friend were walking to their car at 24th and Pinkney just after 10 p.m. when they heard gunshots and started running. Fellows was hit and driven to Creighton University Medical Center for treatment of injuries not considered life threatening.

A home in the area was also struck by gunfire.
