Nebraska's Latest Foreclosure Rating Released
The latest report shows very little foreclosure activity in Nebraska, and the state still has one of the lowest foreclosure rates.

The latest report shows very little foreclosure activity in Nebraska, and the state still has one of the lowest foreclosure rates.
RealtyTrac says the state's foreclosure rate ranked 45th in the nation in May, and stayed significantly lower than the national rate. RealtyTrac collects data from courts in 13 of Nebraska's 93 counties to develop its rates. The company says that data provides enough information to show the trend in foreclosures because 61 percent of the state's homes are in those 13 counties.
RealtyTrac says court records show that one out of every 4,620 Nebraska homes were involved in foreclosure in May. RealtyTrac says one in every 398 homes nationwide received a foreclosure filing in May.
