UPDATE WITH PICS: Twisters In Central Nebraska
Severe weather rolled through Central Nebraska Wednesday evening spawning several tornadoes, including one that caused damage in the city of Aurora.

Severe weather rolled through Central Nebraska Wednesday evening spawning several tornadoes, including one that caused damage in the city of Aurora.

The tornado caused power outages, and damaged houses and a pet food plant. There were no reports of injuries.

Teams are set to begin assessing the damage Thursday.

Among the other official sightings from weather observers in Nebraska were several twisters near Gibbon, another twelve miles Northeast of Kearney, and a twister on the ground six miles Northwest of Shelton.
