Nebraska Parks Adds Three Boating Safety Classes
The state Game and Parks Commission has added three more boating safety courses to the year's schedule.
The state requires any motorboat or personal-watercraft operator under 18 to complete a boating safety course. And he or she must have a course certificate when operating the boat.
To operate a motorboat or personal watercraft in Nebraska, you must be at least 14.
The newly added classes are June 19 in Hastings and June 27 in Alliance and South Bend.
