17 More H1N1 Cases Confirmed In Nebraska

17 more cases of H1N1 have been confirmed since last Friday, bringing the total number of confirmed Nebraska cases to 60.

Four probable cases are pending confirmation.

"The number of seasonal cases of flu is dropping," said Dr. Joann Schaefer, Chief Medical Officer. “But H1N1 continues to circulate in a low-level but stable fashion across the state. There is now substantiated evidence that 14 affected counties are affected by H1N1, but I’m sure that other counties are affected as well.”

Four of those confirmed cases are in Douglas county.

Two are in Sarpy.
