A 2-year-old girl faces reconstructive surgery to her face after being attacked by a dog.
Nebraska Humane Society spokesman Mark Langan says the girl was playing with other children in a south Omaha backyard Tuesday afternoon when a husky bit her in the face. He says the girl will need plastic surgery to repair the damage.
The dog is now being held at the Nebraska Humane Society and being checked for rabies.
Langan says officials are still trying to determine if the dog's owner will be ticketed.
