A 35 year old Plattsmouth man died after being airlifted to an Omaha trauma center Friday night.

Plattsmouth Police along Plattsmouth Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the 2400 block of South 15th Street to the report of a main bleeding severely. Star Care helicopter was summoned to transport the man.

The Cassgram reports that Scott Arthur Putman passed away a few hours later. Mike Savage, Putman’s lifelong friend and employer, said doctors determined Putman had suffered a brain aneurysm and had struck his head upon falling. The doctors told Savage there was nothing they could do to save his life.

Putman, originally from Yuba City, California moved to Plattsmouth 10 years ago and worked for Savage Plumbing.

Local services are pending. Other services will be held in California.
