An Omaha man is having a hard time believing someone stole two flags given to him by his father.
Edward White says his father Robert gave him two flags when he returned from Vietnam. One flag, an American flag, the other a P.O.W. flag.
"My dad's flag from when he was in Vietnam set aside out there, P.O.W. flag sitting in a box nicely wrapped. Someone broke in -- tore the lock off my shed and tossed everything," says Edward White. "It's sentimental. They're irreplaceable. I think some people don't understand what that flag means"
"It's despicable -- plain out right disgusting," says White's friend Richard Chavez. "A lot of my friends scattered around this country came back in a bag."
This Memorial Day, Edward White missed the flags that remind him of his father. He purchased a new one but it's clearly not the same.
