A comic best known for his popular self-titled television sitcom is coming to Lincoln for his first performance in five years.
Jerry Seinfeld is set to perform at the Lied Center for Performing Arts on July 25.
Tickets go on sale June 1.
The 55-year-old continues to tour regularly, mixing it in with his behind-the-camera endeavors, which include the recent animated feature film, "Bee Movie."
He is best known for the television sitcom "Seinfeld," which premiered in 1990 on NBC and ran for nine seasons.
Seinfeld also is the executive producer of a new reality show, "The Marriage Ref", that is expected to premiere on NBC in 2010 after the Winter Olympics.
