Just after 5:30 Friday morning, the first few visitors attending the Burke High School Track Meet sleepily trickled in. But, for the most part only race officials and those helping with the meet were there making a final push to put the finishing touches on the area.

The meet draws thousands, 30,000, this year alone to be exact. People from all over the state come to cheer on some of the state's best and brightest in Track and Field. Burke has one of the largest meets in the country, third to only Texas and Kansas.

For those attending the meet, here's some important information:

-Meet starts at 9am at Burke High School (120th and W. Dodge Rd.) 12200 Burke Blvd.

-Congestion expected between Blondo and Pacific on 120th Street and on Dodge underneath the expressway.

-Parking will be at a premium. Race officials suggest parking at Westroads' northeast lot and taking a shuttle over to the meet. Shuttle will be available throughout the day.

-Expect large crowds
