Youth Emergency Services opened a Maternity Group Home for pregnant or parenting 16-21 year old homeless mothers.
The group is adding a garden to teach moms how to cook nutritiously for their kids.
It's pare of Mutual of Omaha's 100 Days of Caring projects.
Employees from Mutual are volunteering their time to build and plant a garden for the Maternity Group Home residents.
This Group Home is designed to teach young women how to become independent, with a focus on employment, education, and parenting skills.
The group home is at 2616 Edward Street in Bellevue.
Volunteers will be working in the garden from 1-4 p.m. Wednesday.
