The Shelby County Sheriff's Department made an arrest Friday night in the attempted abduction of a girl in Irwin, Iowa.
Sixty-four-year-old Marc Nelson of Cherokee, Iowa was taken into custody after trying to lure a 12-year-old girl into his van after school on Thursday.
Nelson is charged with attempted enticement of a minor and assault with intent to commit sexual abuse, both aggravated misdemeanors. His bond was set at $4,000.
