A southeast Nebraska family has received $10,000 from the Web site Overstock.com to help pay bills.

Bonnie Willis of Benkelman, Nebraska, won the $10,000 prize that will be paid directly to one of her creditors. Willis is a cafeteria manager at a high school, and she and her husband have three daughters.

Willis says the family will use at least part of the money to help pay medical bills. Overstock.com plans to award $10,000 to a different family in each month of 2009. Willis' family won the March prize.
