The dispute between a High School basketball player and a teammate's father will go to mediation.
That postpones a hearing seeking a permanent protection order against the father.
16-year-old Clare Tokheim had filed a petition asking a judge to grant a harassment protection order against Larry McIntyre. His daughter Vicki is Tokheim's basketball teammate.
Tokheim's parents accuse McIntyre of verbally harassing the point guard during games.
The judge in the case was to consider a game tape as evidence. But that's all on hold pending mediation.
In the meantime a temporary harassment protection order will remain in affect. It states McIntyre can't verbally harass Tokheim in any way.
Neither side will comment until mediation is complete. The window to accomplish that is 90 days.
