Authorities have identified a man who died at a metro shooting range Tuesday night as 27-year-old James E. Cannon of Bellevue.

After an autopsy conducted Wednesday, investigators have ruled his death a suicide.

The incident happened at 109th and Harrison. Cannon suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound but it was not immediately clear if the shot was accidental or intentional

Sarpy County Sheriffs were called to the Bullet Hole shooting range at about 8 p.m., which is when the business is scheduled to close on Tuesdays.

Deputies said that there were other people in the room where the shooting took place, but they did not know if anyone actually witnessed the shooting.
