A bar in West Burlington has lost it's liquor license for refusing to comply with the Iowa Smoke-free Air Act.

Officials say the revocation of Otis Campbell's liquor license was the result of "persistently and continually" refusing to comply with the law.

Another bar, Fro’s, in Wilton, Iowa, will lose it's liquor license for 30 days.

The decisions were made Wednesday in separate orders from Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division Administrator, Lynn Walding.

Otis Campbell's was already on a 30 day suspension. Walding cited the bar's "blatant, intentional and on-going violations," as reason to revoke the license.

Walding also stated he has “no assurance that, upon completion of a suspension, the Licensee will not revert back to a pattern and practice of disregard of the Iowa Smoke-free Air Act.”

Walding is open to the idea of reinstating the liquor license, if Otis Campbell’s is willing to comply with the law and serve a suspension.
