Late night and early morning Interstate 80 travelers will be detoured onto Highway 6 next week.

If weather permits, workers will be removing the overpass above I-80 at 262nd Street Monday and Tuesday. As a result, the eastbound lanes will be closed from Gretna to the Greenwood-Ashland interchange.

The closure will be in effect starting at 11 p.m. Monday and Tuesday and continuing until 6 a.m. the following days.

Westbound I-80 will be closed along the same stretch from 11 p.m. Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday.
