Check forgery conviction for an Omaha woman.
The Cassgram reports that 35-year-old Hope R. Dillinger, who had five aliases listed on her court records, will be sentenced April 13th for second degree forgery, a Class IV Felony.
The plea agreement includes a recommendation of one to three years in the Nebraska Department of Corrections.
Deputy Cass County Attorney Richard Fedde said video at the American Exchange Bank in Elmwood showed Dillinger cashing a $900 forged check on December 30th, 2008.
The rightful owner of the check said he had lost his checks in Lincoln a couple weeks earlier. When Dillinger was later arrested by Papillion Police, other checks belonging to the victim were found in her possession.
Dillinger remains in custody at the Cass County Jail. She also has charges pending in Sarpy and Douglas Counties.
