Highway 50 south of Highway 34 is one of seven projects to be awarded first round funding through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
U.S. Asphalt was awarded a $4.77 million contract for work on 9.5 miles of Nebraska Highway 50 from Syracuse north into Cass County. Construction is to begin June 15th.
