The Louisville Board of Education has delayed consideration of placing a bond issue before voters for at least 60 days.
According to the minutes of its March meeting, the board passed a motion to table consideration until the citizens committee "had the opportunity to meet with patrons that have concerns" regarding the committee’s recommendation for a building addition and improvements.
The Cassgram reported last month that the committee forwarded its recommendation for renovations to the existing building, a new addition, parking improvements, and upgrades to the outdoor athletic fields and playground.
The rough estimate for the construction budget was placed at $9.3 million but there are other cost variables that also factor into the final cost.
