A 37-year-old Dakota City, Nebraska woman is dead after the snowmobile she was driving rolled over east of Steamboat Springs, Colorado Friday afternoon.

Jodi Beier was vacationing with family members in the Long Lake area when she briefly got separated from the group. Beier was found underneath her snowmobile.

The family called for help and began CPR, but Beier was pronounced dead shortly after emergency crews arrived. It's still not clear what caused the wreck since no one witnessed it. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
