A man, a woman, two cats, and one dog have been displaced by a fire.
The LaVista and Papillion fire departments responded to a mobile home fire at 84th & Fairview Road around 4:30pm Thursday. The structure serves as the home of the property managers of the Town & Country Humane Society.
The Humane Society has several buildings adjacent to the mobile home which are populated with cats & dogs. The fire threatened one of those buildings. Only two cats and one dog were in the building.
There is no word on what caused the fire. The two people living in the home are safe.
