A Heartland woman, taking her juvenile daughter for a counseling session tells Omaha Police while she was driving in the area of 108th and Blondo, the girl attacked her.

This was reported on Wednesday, December 3rd.

The pair were coming in from their Bellevue home, on the way to meet the woman's husband at the counseling session.

According to the woman's statement she gave to police, the girl tried to change the radio station, but she intervened.

That set the girl off, the mother tells police her daughter threw a bottle of soda at her, then began hitting and wrestling with her.

The woman also tells police she nearly lost control of the vehicle in the busy intersection but managed not to get into an accident.

According to the police report the girl told her mother, "If there wasn't a consequence you'd be dead."

After the alleged attack, the mother and father took the girl to Omaha Police Headquarters where she was cited for misdemeanor assault.

The girl, whose name is not being released because of her age, told officers her parents want her to be like her older brothers, and will not let her take the classes she wants.
