Thieves strike again in the metro. This time they hit a gas station and hotel.
The first robbery occurred around ten p.m. Wednesday at the Sinclair near North 16th and Camden Avenue. The clerk reports a man came in and demanded money. He was armed with a box cutter.
Several hours later, police were called to LaQuinta Inn at 107th and M Street. An employee says a man came in to the hotel and ran behind the counter. He demanded cash, but did not mention a weapon. The suspect was last seen leaving the hotel on foot.
Police say the robberies are not related. The suspect description does not match.
