Omaha Police are looking for two suspects believed to have participated in two separate convenience store robberies early Wednesday morning.

The first one happened just before midnight at the Kwik Shop on the corner of 90th and Blondo. Two men came up to the clerk when she was outside, demanded she go inside and give them money from the register. It's unclear how much cash the suspects got away with.

The second robbery happened around 6 a.m. at the Kwik Shop near 76th and Cass Street. Police say a possible suspect entered and asked for a job application. Shortly after that a second man came in and demanded money. The amount of money stolen is undetermined.

The suspect ran out of the store followed by a second, possible suspect.

Police say during both robberies the suspect said he had a weapon, but did not display one. They believe the two robberies are related and are asking anyone who knows anything about these crimes to call 444-STOP.

An anonymous tip could be worth up to $1,000 and you don’t leave your name.

Mary Lou-I agree that something needs to be done to reduce crime. Rather than just complaining about it and blaming OPD, do you have any suggestions that we haven't heard before or that we already have in place and don't work??

How many more robberies and murders do we need in this city before the mayor and OPD do something to help reduce the crime rates

Thugs love robbing Omaha Kwik Shops because the owner prohibits his employees from carrying any weapons, so the thugs know it's an easy score.

As usual - PUNK thugs who are too lazy to make their own money!

I can't believe these stores can get anyone to work for them anymore.
