A Heartland woman faces a life sentence if convicted for what authorities says was her part in a kidnapping and attempted murder scheme.

Police had searched for Sharie Colburt for the past five months, finally tracking her down at a cousin's home, and taking her into custody on Wednesday, November 19th.

Prosecutors say Colburt played an active role in the June abduction of Sarah Schramm, to the point of stealing Schramm's car.

A Heartland man, Jamall Abram was tracked down in suburban Atlanta, he faces an attempted murder charge.

Schramm was kidnapped and driven to the area of 52nd and Bauman, shot several times in the back and left for dead.

Somehow Schramm managed to survive, even making it to a nearby house for help, Schramm gave investigators the names of the people she say attacked her.

The judge set Colburt's bond at $500,000. Her preliminary hearing is set for January 6th.
