The Omaha Public Works Department announced Friday that garbage, recyclable material and yard waste will not be collected on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day.
The collection schedule will be delayed one day following the holiday. The schedule for the week of November 24th is as follows:

Monday - Monday, November 24
Tuesday - Tuesday, November 25
Wednesday - Wednesday, November 26
Thursday - Friday, November 28
Friday - Saturday, November 29
