The City of Omaha has released updated information on street construction projects that will impact traffic around the metro over the next several days.

Beginning Wednesday, November 19 at 9:00 a.m., Dodge St. will have one eastbound lane closed from 78th St. to 77th St. This restriction is due to utility work and will be in effect for three days.

Beginning Wednesday, November 19, at 9:00 a.m., 120th St. will have one northbound lane closed from Farnam St. to Burke Blvd. This restriction is due to sewer repair and will be in effect for three to four days.

Beginning Thursday, November 20, at 9:00 a.m. Pacific St. will have various lane restrictions from 180th St. to 183rd St. These restrictions are due to sewer installation and will be in effect for two days.

On Saturday, November 22, 2008, Pacific St. will be closed to thru traffic from 180th St. to 183rd St. This closure is due to sewer installation and will be in effect between the hours of 8:00 a.m. on Saturday to 6:00 a.m. on Monday, November 24, 2008.

I hope the city gets these road blocks taken care of before the Thanksgiving rush to Grandma's house for dinner. And for the "day after Thanksgiving" shopping day.
