More than 200 lbs. of marijuana seized from a minivan lands a Michigan man in the Lancaster County jail.
It happened around 8:20 p.m. on Wednesday near the Lincoln Airport Interchange on I-80.
A trooper with the Nebraska State Patrol Headquarters Troop-Lincoln stopped an eastbound 2008 Toyota Sienna with fictitious/expired plates.
The trooper was given consent to search the vehicle. The search led to the seizure of 213.6 lbs. of marijuana located in three boxes in the cargo area of the minivan.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, 64-year-old Robert Whitcomb (DOB 5-23-44) of Wyoming, Michigan is being held in the Lancaster County jail on a charge of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver.
