Omaha police have booked a 19-year-old man in connection with the shooting death of Larry Green Jr. early Wednesday morning.
Ronrico Devers is facing manslaughter charges in the death of Green. And police now say the location of the shooting, originally thought to be near 30th and Ames Avenue, was not where the incident occurred.
According to police the shooting happened somewhere else but they're not saying where.
Police say Devers had possession of a gun, was intoxicated at the time and unintentionally discharged the weapon hitting Green in the head as he sat in the back seat of Devers' car.
Devers then drove the victim to Creighton University Medical Center where Green died.
