A Bellevue man has been sentenced to nearly 4 years in federal prison for possessing child pornography.
In August of 2007, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents executed a search warrant on John Dawson’s Bellevue residence.
Investigators say that a computer at the address was used by someone who had subscribed to a child pornography website.
More than 200 images of child pornography were found in unallocated or lost files. Thirty-three of the children depicted in the images had been previously identified through previous law enforcement investigations.
John Dawson, 51, will serve 46 months in prison.
