Halloween & Engineering Meet

One of things many families enjoy while trick-or-treating on Halloween is checking out the displays and there's one Council Bluffs teenager looking to corner the market on scare.

Wyatt Seals is a Senior at Abraham Lincoln High School. His story of Halloween success has an unusual beginning when he first found a life-sized Grim Reaper. That was when he was in 7th grade.

Every October for the last six years, his yard on Kenmore Avenue in Council Bluffs becomes haunted on Halloween night just for the trick or treaters.

Wyatt Seals: "The next year it got bigger. The next year it got bigger. And now it's big. This year's my nostalgia year since it's my last year."

We saw enough gears and gadgets to impress any college recruiter.

Wyatt: "This is what I do. It's why I like engineering. You don't just think about it. It's something you get out and do."

The centerpiece of the display is the Werewolf -- named Sally. He agrees it isn't very scary.

Wyatt: "Underneath this mask there's a foam head like a hairstylist. I got it from Sally's Beauty Supply. Sally the Wear wolf."

It's become a future engineer's treat on Halloween.
