A group of University of Iowa MBA students are set to meet with Warren Buffett, the so-called Oracle of Omaha, during a visit to Nebraska.
The group of 27 full-time MBA students are headed to Omaha on Friday and will meet with Buffett, the chairman and chief executive of Berkshire Hathaway. They will join students from five other universities.
Second-year MBA student Anne Thimsen says she's gearing up for a "once in a lifetime opportunity" to pick Buffett's brain.
The visit will include a tour of the Nebraska Furniture Mart -- one of the many businesses owned by Berkshire Hathaway -- and a 90-minute question-and-answer session with Buffett. After that, he'll treat the students to lunch at Piccolo Pete's steak house.

JAMES, WARREN IS GIVING HALF HIS FORTUNE TO THE BILL GATES FOUNDATION WHEN HE DIES, WHICH IN CASE YOU DID NOT KNOW IS CURRENTLY BENIFITING THE ENTIRE WORLD. OMAHA IS IN THAT WORLD. HOW MUCH DO YOU GIVE TO CHARITY? PROBABLY NOT AS MUCH AS THIS MAN. WHY DOES HE HAVE MORE RESPONSIBLITY TO GIVE THAN YOU? WHY SHOULD HE PAY FOR A BALLPARK IN OMAHA OR A ANIMAL SHELTER IN IOWA JUST BECAUSE YOU THINK HE SHOULD. THE MAN CAN DO WHAT HE WANTS WITH HIS MONEY JUST LIKE YOU CAN WITH YOURS. DON'T TRY TO SMEAR THIS GOOD MAN'S NAME. HE DOES A LOT FOR THIS COMMUNITY THAT MOST DON'T KNOW ABOUT.

Here is the richest person in the world, and yes, he donated a huge amount of money to Bill Gates, and has made lots of millionaires. Buffet's corporations sponser charity events, and he sells off things like his billfold with stock tip. (Buy Bershire-Hathaway Stock) But honestly, why does not this rich man do something for the Community directly like donating money for the ball park, giving money to C.B. Iowa for an animal shelter? Handing out money to people in other States and Countries through Gates Foundation is not helping out here. Oh sure, now come out the whiners about what a humanitarian Buffett is. No body else cares about Omaha and the Community here including the richest man in the world. What a shame!

I am curious what charities does he contribute to in Omaha?
