Four arrests have been made in connection with Saturday night's shooting of an unmarked police car. The officers inside, part of the Gang Unit, were not hurt.
The patrol vehicle was hit twice by bullets near 22nd and Pinkney around 8:45 p.m.
More officers arrived on the scene to assist and during the investigation a gun was found and a search warrant was served at 3511 North 22nd Street. Police found two more guns and some stolen property in the house.
Police arrested one juvenile male, who said he fired at the unmarked car believing it belonged to a rival gang member. He was booked for two counts of attempted felony assault and destruction of property.
Officers also arrested 20-year-old Devan Scott and 20-year-old T.L. Wright for theft by receiving, and 20-year-old Keith Huggins for two counts of felon in possession of a firearm.
