An Iowa teenager is the latest child to be dropped off at a Nebraska hospital under the state's Safe Haven law.
A 14-year old Council Bluffs girl was abandoned at Creighton Medical Center in Nebraska located just across the river.
The Safe Haven Law allows parents or guardians to drop off any child 19 years and younger at a hospital without fear of prosecution.
The Associated Press reports state health officials believe this person could face prosecution in her home state.
This is the 17th child in 3 weeks left behind at Nebraska hospitals.
