The fifth annual Autumn Ambience Festival, a celebration of the season and a unique cultural experience was held at Omaha’s Lauritzen Gardens this weekend.
There were plenty of activities for kids including kite making, creating your own scarecrow and even enjoying a tractor ride. It was also the last day for the Japanese Ambience Festival where visitors could learn about origami and Japanese calligraphy.
Parents enjoyed the outing with their kids. “Flowers, they both love looking at all the different flowers and trying to smell them all,” said April Peek of Omaha.
Proceeds from the Japanese Ambience Festival go towards completing phases one and two of the future Japanese garden.
