O.J. Simpson has been found guilty on all charges in the gunpoint robbery of two sports memorabilia dealers in a Las Vegas casino hotel room more than a year ago.

The 61-year-old former football faces up to life in prison.

A somber Simpson released a heavy sigh as the charges were read Friday in Clark County District Court. He was immediately taken into custody.

The verdict comes 13 years to the day after Simpson was acquitted of killing his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman, in Los Angeles.

Co-defendant Clarence "C.J." Stewart also was found guilty on all charges and taken into custody.

The men were tried on 12 criminal charges.

Of course the jury was out to get OJ. Because he's a thief as well as a killer Please, no more dumb karma comments. If there were any such thing 95% of our politicians in DC would have dropped dead along time ago. Karma? Holy cow.

No more golf for OJ. Too Bad.

Posted by: Mara on Oct 5, 2008 at 08:09 AM
Well, now maybe he can finally search for Nicole's killer. Golf took up so much of his time.

Even if the stuff was still OJs, any value would belong to the Goldman family to settle the unpaid suit against OJ. Which, the loser has not paid anything on.

It only took "The Today Show" 11 minutes to play the race card. "Well, this jury was decidedly against him, this was clearly not the jury he had in his murder trial." Uh, no, you're right. THIS jury had brains and spent 13 hours reviewing the evidence. They didn't take the equivalent of 29 minutes to let him off on murder charges. By the way, in case you forgot, the murder-trial jury was predominately black. So the defense was that the police were racist and planted evidence. I hope O.J. spends the rest of his waking days behind bars. Yes, karma will come back to bite you in the end.

Why wouldn't he have thought he could get away with this, he chose to live above the law for how many years now. They weren't out to "get him", they were just finally able to convict him for one of his crimes. And Greg, the memorabilia wasn't his any more, that's kind of the point of his conviction.

Posted by: George on Oct 4, 2008 at 08:03 PM
To Greg: no, it wasn't his stuff any more.

Finally Justice has prevailed. He should have been locked up 13 years ago for the murders.

I am glad OJ finally realizes you can't thumb your nose at the law over and over again before they get you. He acts like he is above the law and rules all the rest of us must follow. I believe is was gulity of the killing years ago and I believe he is guilty of this crime as well. I don't feel sorry for him one bit. Karma, OJ, Karma. It has come home to you.

Does he seriously think he can just get away with anything? I think he's guilty and also guilty of murdering his wife and her 'friend.' Put him away!

Posted by: jj on Oct 4, 2008 at 01:26 PM
Good now he will finally go to jail where he belongs...

Posted by: Greg on Oct 4, 2008 at 12:13 PM
This is wrong....OJ got injustice. It was his stuff!!!

A person can get away with murder, but get prison for theft. At least there is some justice for Nicole Brown Simpson. Just goes to show that it will catch up with you at some point.

Give me an AMEN!! He belonged in prison 13 yrs.ago....I hope he gets the maximum sentence for this case. Though he should already be in prison for what he did to his ex-wife and her friend.

Well, what goes around comes around. Justice is finally served.

Finally. A jury that sees this clown for what he really is. Enjoy the rest of your life in prison OJ. Too bad "The Juice" can't be sentenced to getting the juice.

Posted by: Bill on Oct 4, 2008 at 07:54 AM
I guess OJ's lucky number is 13. Hopefully the appeal process will fail and he will spend the rest of his life behind bars. It could not have happend to a more deserving person!
