A 31-year-old Fremont man has been given three to five years in prison for assaulting two officers.
Eric Ramirez was sentenced on Monday. Ramirez was convicted of two felony counts of assaulting a police officer.
Police say Ramirez was arrested after punching two officers who responded to a Fremont disturbance on Sept. 15.
Dodge County Attorney Oliver Glass described the incident as a "vicious, alcohol-fueled attack on two peace officers."
