The York County Sheriff, Dale Radcliff, says the new report came Monday evening from a person who lives about two miles west and two miles north of Bradshaw.
Another person reported a mountain lion crossed a road in front of her vehicle about four miles north and a mile east of town on Sunday night.
Radcliff says neither report has been confirmed. But he says that, "given that we've heard from two separate people now, you never know, there might be something to it."
Mountain lions, which also are called cougars and pumas, are routinely sighted in northwest Nebraska and have turned up as far east as Omaha.
